AVERA builds electric vehicles and control the entire electric vehicle supply chain from batteries to electric vehicles. We focus on electrifying traditional emission-releasing vehicles for a more sustainable and economical solution.
Mechanical specifications include 3000W BLDC motor that draws power from a lithium-ion battery pack and allows a max speed of 90 km/h. The battery is claimed to deliver a range of up to 140 km on a full charge. The recharge time takes 4 hours via a power socket at home, while Avera’s charging points can juice up the battery pack in half the time (2 hours). The scooter offers two riding modes – Economy and Sport Plus – that will affect the range and performance.
The hardware specifications match the rivals, and the Avera electric scooter comes equipped with disc brake at the front and at the back. Telescopic front forks and twin-sided springs at the rear handle the shock absorption tasks.
The Retrosa comes with a five-year warranty on the battery pack. Avera provides a five-year insurance scheme also with the Retrosa. Currently, the company is only operating in Andhra Pradesh, but it plans to expand in other cities in the country. The report says that it plans to install 100 charging/battery swapping points across the country.
